Your privacy choices
Here you choose which cookies we may use and whether the app may send anonymous usage counts, and how to use your privacy rights. Hey, It’s You! is operated by BluNET Holding Company, LLC. Questions? Email legal@heyitsyouagain.com.
Cookies and tracking
Saved in this browser. In the app, your choices are saved to your account.
We don’t use advertising or social media cookies, so there’s nothing to turn off there. Until you choose “All cookies”, we use necessary cookies only. Our Cookie policy explains what our cookies do and why.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or an extension sends Global Privacy Control, we treat it as a request not to sell or share your personal information, and if you’re signed in, Sale or sharing is turned off on your account too. We also don’t count your visits to our website, and the same goes for Do Not Track.
Sensitive information
Your ID check and the locations we record when a code is scanned are used only for verification and safety. Only authorized staff can see them, never other members, and we never sell them or use them for advertising. Because they’re already limited this way, there’s no separate switch. The Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long.
Emails and texts
Offers and news emails come only to members, and you can stop them anytime: turn off “Email me offers and news” in Settings → Notifications, or use the unsubscribe link in any of them. Membership and security emails are always sent. We don’t send marketing texts; texts from us are only for verification codes.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas or Oregon), you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we have about you and get a copy of it;
- correct information that’s wrong;
- delete your information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, and of targeted advertising;
- not be treated differently for using these rights.
To make a request, email legal@heyitsyouagain.com with “Privacy request” in the subject, use Help & contact, or write to us at BluNET Holding Company, LLC, c/
Checking it’s you. Before we act on a request, we confirm it’s really you. If you’re signed in when you ask, that’s enough. Otherwise we email the address on your account and ask you to confirm the request from it. We may ask for a little more when a request is for a copy of your information or to delete it. We use what you give us for this only to check your identity, and we never ask for your password.
Someone acting for you. An authorized agent can make a request for you with your signed permission. We ask the agent for that permission, and we may still ask you to confirm your identity with us directly or to confirm that you gave it.
How long it takes. We confirm we’ve received your request within 10 business days and answer within 45 days. If we need more time, we tell you why within those 45 days, and take at most 45 more. A request to opt out of sale or sharing is carried out within 15 business days.
Appeals. If we turn down your request, you can appeal: email legal@heyitsyouagain.com with “Privacy Request Appeal” in the subject. You can appeal within 60 days of our answer. We answer your appeal within 45 days and explain our decision. Our answer also tells you how to contact your state’s attorney general if you have concerns about the outcome.
