Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Hey, It’s You! (again), a service for people who meet to connect and choose what information to share. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Hey, It’s You! (again) is operated by Elevated Life Connections, LLC, a subsidiary of Elevated Life Network, LLC. Contact us through Help & contact or support@heyitsyouagain.com.

Eligibility and account security

You must be at least 18 (we check your birth date at sign-up and whenever you change it, counting by today’s date in Hawaii), provide accurate account information, control your supplied email and phone, and complete required verification. A profile picture is required to finish signup and make connections. It must be a clear photo of you with your face visible and unobstructed, not a group photo, logo, or ID document. Verified email and phone are also required before messaging or sharing information; when memberships are paid, the phone (and ID) checks come after you start your membership. Twilio Verify sends a one-time code, by text, voice call or email, to verify a new phone number and a new email address and — if you turn on two-step verification — a new device the first time it signs in. Two-step verification is optional for members and off by default; devices stay trusted until you remove them, and a password reset removes all trusted devices. You may also sign in with a passkey on a device you control; keep that device and its screen lock secure, and remove the passkey in Account settings if you lose the device. A password reset or a staff-issued temporary password removes your passkeys. After a password reset you must verify your phone number again, and after a staff-issued temporary password your email address and phone number; verification is otherwise required again only after you change your email or phone number or staff remove a verification. Once your email, phone number, first name, last name or birth date is verified, you can change it only through a change request that our support team reviews (one request per edit, with every verified detail you changed). After approval you must verify every new detail within 5 days (a code to a new email address or phone number, a new ID check for your name or birth date). The change is all or nothing: the new details apply only when all of them are verified in time; otherwise all of your current details stay. Until then your connections keep seeing your current verified details, and you can use only My Profile and Account settings. Your optional preferred name must not impersonate anyone or mislead; we may remove it. Staff accounts sign in with Microsoft and its multi-factor authentication. Any staff-required account recovery must still be completed. Names and birth dates must be truthful. You must also verify your government-issued photo ID with a live selfie through our processor Stripe before messaging or sharing contact information; the name and date of birth on your ID must match your profile, you must be 18 or older, and after verification your name and date of birth can only be corrected through support. You may try up to 3 times a day and 5 times in total, after which support may ask for a manual ID review. The check uses biometric data only with your consent, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not use someone else’s ID or try to deceive the check. You can create a profile and save connections before completing verification. Both people must complete every required verification to communicate. Email and phone verification are not proof of legal identity or age. Staff accounts are solely for administration and cannot be used as personal profiles. Addresses at @heyitsyouagain.com and @blunetgroup.com are reserved for staff and cannot register personal accounts. Staff setup and staff email changes require one of those exact domains, authorized Owner setup or invitation, and required two-factor authentication; an address on those domains alone grants no privileges. We record login/security events and observed IP addresses for personal and staff accounts and log authorized staff access, as described in the Privacy Policy. These security audit records have a 15-year retention period and survive account deletion, subject to applicable law. Keep passwords, authenticator secrets, and recovery codes private. Do not impersonate another person, sell accounts, or access another person’s account. Contact support if you believe your account is compromised.

Membership, billing and automatic renewal

Chatting and sharing contact information need a membership. Profile creation and QR connections are always free. While memberships are not yet offered, access is free for everyone, no payment is collected, and nothing you do authorizes future charges. Staff may grant individual complimentary access; this does not bypass verification, charge you, or cancel a paid membership.

Price. A membership costs US $9.99 per month, or US $99.99 per year, taxes included. You choose monthly or yearly when you start. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card number.

50% off your first month. On the monthly plan, your first membership costs US $4.99 for the first month, then US $9.99 a month. The yearly plan has no introductory price. The introductory price is offered only on a person’s first membership: not again for the same account, email address, phone number or payment card, including after an account is deleted or re-created; a membership started without it costs US $9.99 from the first month. We check the payment card after you pay: if it was already used for an introductory offer, you keep the $4.99 first month you paid, and that card is not offered one again.

Automatic renewal. A monthly membership renews automatically every month at US $9.99 (after your first month at US $4.99, with the introductory price), and a yearly membership renews automatically every year at US $99.99, until you cancel. Before you pay, we show what you pay today, the renewal price and the date of the first full-price renewal, and you must tick a box agreeing to automatic renewal. We record that agreement with the time. We email you 7 days before your first month at the introductory price ends, and 30 days before each yearly renewal, with the date and the price; if you cancel before then, you aren’t charged again.

Cancel anytime online. Cancel on your membership page (Account settings → Membership) at any time; no call or email is needed. You can resume a canceled membership before it ends.

Switching to yearly. A monthly member can switch to yearly on the membership page. The switch takes effect at your next monthly renewal: nothing is charged or prorated before then, and you can undo it until then. The yearly plan’s savings are compared with paying US $9.99 a month for 12 months.

Discounts and offers.

  • The first time you start to cancel a paid monthly membership, we may offer you a discount to stay (for example 50% off for the next 6 months). Yearly memberships aren’t offered this discount; the yearly price already includes its savings. The offer is shown once per person; accepting or declining it uses it up. Declining takes one click and cancels as usual; the offer never delays or blocks canceling.
  • Our team may add free months, a discount or account credit to your membership at our discretion. We email you what was added and until when.
  • A discount applies to the payments in its period and then ends on its own; your membership goes back to the normal price. Free months and credits come off your next payments.
  • Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred or withdrawn, and aren’t refundable.
  • We may withdraw or void an offer, discount or credit that was obtained by abuse, for example with several accounts or payment methods.

Refunds.

  • The refund window below applies to every payment on either plan: the US $4.99 first month, each monthly payment, and each US $99.99 yearly payment, including the first yearly payment after switching from monthly.
  • If you cancel (or delete your account) by the end of the 5th calendar day after a payment, counted in Hawaii time, we refund that payment in full and your membership and access end right away. For example, for a payment on Monday, October 5, you can cancel with a full refund until Saturday, October 10, at 11:59:59 PM Hawaii time. The membership page shows the exact deadline in your own time zone. Automatic refunds are available at most once every 12 months per person.
  • Verifying after you pay: phone and ID verification come after you start your membership. If your phone number (and your ID, when ID verification is required) isn’t verified by 11:45 PM on the 5th calendar day after your first payment, counted in Hawaii time, we cancel your membership and refund that payment in full, within your refund window. We email you reminders before then. This refund doesn’t count toward the once-every-12-months limit.
  • After that, canceling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We don’t refund partial months or years, unless the law requires it or our support team grants a refund.

Pausing, deleting and suspension. Pausing your account pauses your membership too: you are not charged while your account is paused, however long that is, and billing resumes when you reactivate your account. Deleting your account cancels your membership immediately (with the refund above if you are inside the refund window). If staff suspend your account, billing is paused while it is suspended and resumes if the suspension is lifted; a permanent suspension cancels your membership immediately.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it and we email you. You keep access for 3 days after the failed payment; update your payment method on your membership page to continue. If payment is not completed, paid features pause until you start a new membership.

Price changes. We will email you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect. The new price applies from your next renewal after that date; you can cancel before then.

Reactivation. If you sign up again within 60 days after requesting deletion, using the same email address or phone number, your previous account is reactivated once you confirm that email or phone with a code: your membership and purchase history, introductory-price status and safety history stay with it, but your previous connections, messages, meetups, notes and photos are not restored, and you start a new membership (at the full price). After 60 days the account is permanently deleted and a new sign-up creates a new account (the introductory price is still not offered again).

Voluntary contributions

You can make an optional one-time contribution (“Support us”) of $1 to $500 through Stripe. Elevated Life Connections, LLC is not a charity, so contributions aren’t tax-deductible. Contributions are voluntary gifts to the service: they don’t buy a membership, features or any other benefit, and they don’t change your membership or what you can do in the app. We email you a thank-you with your receipt. If you made a contribution by mistake, contact us through Help & contact; we may refund it at our discretion.

Communication rules

Keep conversations polite, respectful, and appropriate. These rules apply to messages, profile content, meetup details, and communications arising from use of the service.

  • Do not send rude, abusive, degrading, or discriminatory messages, personal attacks, or hate speech.
  • Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, pressure, or repeatedly contact someone who has declined, stopped replying, paused the conversation, or removed the connection.
  • Do not send sexually explicit messages, sexual solicitations, graphic descriptions, nudity, or pornographic content.
  • Respect consent, boundaries, and privacy. A connection or shared phone number does not create an obligation to respond, meet, share more information, or continue contact.
  • Do not scam, impersonate, exploit, blackmail, or disclose another person’s private information without permission.
  • Do not evade restrictions or retaliate against someone for declining contact or reporting a concern.

If another member breaks these rules or makes you uncomfortable, use Report profile on their connection page. You can also pause the conversation or remove the connection. Reports are reviewed by authorized staff and are not shown to the reported member. Report honestly; do not knowingly submit false or retaliatory reports.

A report alone does not restrict the reported member, with two exceptions. A report of nudity or sexual content in a profile photo hides that photo at once from everyone except safety staff (the member is asked to upload a new one); staff keep the file for review and either restore it or confirm the removal. Each member can report a given photo once. If a member receives reports of harassment or explicit content from at least two different members within any 14 days, the profile is automatically suspended pending review: it is hidden and cannot message, share, plan meetups or connect, and the member is told by email and in the app. Staff then lift the suspension (the related reports are dismissed) or convert it into a regular suspension. Other reports are reviewed by staff only.

Violations may result in a warning, content restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension, depending on severity and history. Staff may act on serious violations without a prior warning. Screening and reports do not guarantee that all inappropriate content will be detected or immediately addressed. Use Help & contact to ask for review of a moderation decision.

Respectful use and safety

Do not use this service for harassment, threats, stalking, scams, coercion, exploitation, unlawful content, or nonconsensual disclosure of someone’s personal information. Respect a person’s choice to decline or stop contact. Do not evade restrictions by creating other accounts. This service is not an emergency service and does not provide background checks or guarantee another member’s identity or conduct. Use your own judgment when meeting someone.

Connections, sharing, and content

You choose whether to share your last name and verified phone number together with a specific connection. Sharing back is optional. Email, birthday, and ID documents remain private. Your connections see your preferred name (or first name) — and your legal name only after you share your contact info with them — plus your unique profile ID, age, profile photo, verification status, and when you connected. If you opt in and grant location access when connecting, both people can see the saved meeting pin. A downloaded contact card can be kept outside the app even after sharing is turned off. You retain rights in your content and grant the service the limited permission necessary to store, process, display, and deliver it to operate the features you choose. Do not upload or send content you lack permission to use. Other members may save information they receive. We may restrict accounts for abuse or violations.

Retained photos, private notes, and staff review

Only your current profile picture is displayed to connections. We retain restricted original copies of previous accepted photo uploads while your account is retained, for account integrity, safety review, and documented legal preservation. Replacing a photo, pausing, removing a connection, or stopping contact sharing does not delete retained history. Changing a picture does not require selfie or ID verification; content safety review still applies. Photo history follows the deletion and legal-hold rules in the Privacy Policy; it is not automatically subject to the 15-year staff audit retention period.

Messages and photos may be screened for nudity, threats, harassment, exploitation, and other inappropriate content. Flagged message attempts may be held, retained, accompanied by a sender warning, and sent to an authorized staff review queue. Screening currently uses limited message rules and manual photo review unless an automated provider is configured. Automated processing, including OpenAI moderation when configured, and human review may be used as described in the Privacy Policy. Results can be wrong; contact support for review. Do not upload nudity or unlawful sexual content, or send threatening, harassing, or coercive messages.

Meetup details are shared with the two participants. Your notes and ratings are hidden from the other participant, but authorized staff may export them for a documented legal purpose. Separate account-specific, date-filtered exports are available for chats, photo history, connection events, account changes, meetup records, the selected user’s private notes/ratings, and staff audit history. They require relevant permission, a documented case reason, an authenticated staff session, and an audit record. Notes exports contain current saved versions, not overwritten revisions. These tools do not authorize unrestricted access or disclosure. Disclosure must have a valid legal basis and appropriate scope. See the Privacy Policy for filtering, retention, providers, and your rights.

Required ID review for flagged accounts

If your account is flagged for an identity, age, or account-integrity concern, we may require a clear copy of a valid government-issued photo ID through the designated restricted upload page. Your ID must support your stated first name, last name, and birth date and confirm you are at least 18. Do not submit a forged, altered, or someone else’s ID. Messaging and contact sharing remain restricted until authorized staff approve the review.

Failure or refusal to comply with a required government-ID verification request will result in permanent suspension of your account. Staff document the decision; a flag alone does not automatically cause permanent suspension. If you cannot provide the requested document or believe the request or decision is mistaken, contact support for review or appeal. Do not create another account to evade a suspension. Permanent suspension does not remove applicable privacy rights.

ID copies are restricted and stored separately from profile pictures. They are not visible to connections or included in profile-photo exports. Originals are queued for removal 30 days after a review decision, or through account deletion, subject to documented legal preservation. See the Privacy Policy for pending-review retention, access logging, cleanup, and your rights.

Profile picture review and message delivery

Profile pictures are approved by default unless automated screening flags them. Reports of explicit content hide the reported picture from everyone except safety staff, and reports of fake profiles hide it from connections, pending staff review for content and authenticity. Staff approval of a picture is not identity verification. While a recipient has paused messaging, you can still submit messages, but those messages are visible only to you and are not delivered later when the recipient resumes. They remain subject to moderation and authorized staff review.

Suspension and deletion

You can pause your account from Account settings and reactivate it later. A deletion request hides the account immediately and schedules removal after 60 days. You can cancel before the displayed deadline by signing in and confirming cancellation. Logging in alone does not cancel deletion. Cleanup includes retained photo originals, meetup records, notes, and member histories, subject to documented legal holds. Staff access/action audit records, including documented support work and resolution notes, remain for 15 years from each event. New legal holds record a reason, duration, and expiry; existing holds without an expiry require staff review. Documented legal preservation requirements can delay removal, including connected records necessary to preserve a held conversation. Applicable legal rights and deadlines prevail over this default workflow. See the Privacy Policy for details.

SMS verification program

Hey, It’s You! (again), operated by Elevated Life Connections, LLC, a subsidiary of Elevated Life Network, LLC, sends transactional verification codes when you request them and separately opt in at the phone-confirmation screen. Message frequency depends on your requests; there are no marketing texts in this program. Consent is not a condition of a purchase. Phone verification is required for messaging and contact sharing; it is not required just to save a connection. You can choose a text message or an automated voice call with the code. Codes are sent and checked by Twilio Verify. Standard message, call and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to the sending number to stop messages, or HELP for assistance. For support, use Help & contact. Do not request additional codes if you no longer want texts. Carrier opt-out restrictions must be resolved through the sending service before delivery can resume; the app does not override them. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Read our Privacy Policy for handling of mobile numbers and consent records.

Service availability and your rights

Features may change or be temporarily unavailable. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or the behavior of other members. Nothing here excludes responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or removes your non-waivable consumer rights. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive a right to pursue remedies available under applicable law.

Questions and changes

Use Help & contact for account assistance, privacy requests, or legal-preservation inquiries. Include enough information to identify the issue without sending your password or verification codes. We will update the displayed version when terms change and seek renewed agreement when required.
